Blessing of the Fleet

A traditional Blessing of the Fleet boat parade on Little Traverse Bay, kicking off at the marina area. This wonderful event, now in its eighth year, is the official start of summer in Harbor Springs.

Harbor Springs Car Festival

August

Rat rods, muscle cars, hot rods, sports cars, vintage and classic models, there's a little something for everyone. The free event typically attracts 200 vehicles and is free for all entrants and spectators. Usually held from 5:30 p.m. to dusk in Zorn Park, in downtown Harbor Springs.

Little Traverse Bay Yacht Club Ugotta Regatta

This year marks the 62nd anniversary of this colorful and exciting 3-day series of boat races. Races occur Fri/Sat/Sun. Enjoy the sights and sounds from one of the Harbor Springs beach front parks or Marina Park Pier.

Street Musique

6-8 pm every Thursday, July & August

The Harbor Springs Chamber Foundation is partnering with Blissfest Musique Organization to give you fabulous musicians all summer long. Each week a specific genre of music will be featured and all is supported through tax deductible contributions.  Come and enjoy the various sounds and melodies of local area musicians while strolling Main Street.

July 4th Parade and Fireworks

July 4th 2024

The City Council has cancelled the 4th of July Parade and Fireworks, but the Harbor Springs Chamber of Commerce hopes to capture some of the holiday spirit by organizing a #SafeHarbor 4th of July online celebration. We are encouraging local residents and businesses to decorate their homes, businesses and vehicles and post the pictures.

Shay Days in Harbor Springs

the celebration of inventor Ephraim Shay takes place with Shay Days in downtown Harbor Springs. This family-friendly, two-day event features small scale live steam locomotives in Shay Park, kids games and self-guided tours of the Shay Hexagon House, crafts at the Harbor Springs History Museum and more. Shay Days activities take place at Shay Park (the green space at Main and Judd streets), the Shay Hexagon House and the Harbor Springs History Museum.
